On June 8 we started seeing signs of waves, but it was still super small so in addition to naming my lazy surf stance “The Diseased Squirrel,” my son and I improvised a new game we are calling “Waboba ball wave ramp launch. “
On June 12th the waves increased in size in the afternoon, but Waboba ball wave ramp launch still seemed like a better alternative.
Rob Stalvey kicked off the unexpected run of June surf on June 14th with a snap and shaka at County Pier
Warren Smith found a section to hit.
Post tiny wave debrief with Jared Gorman at County. While Stalvey was getting wave after wave, we were hoping for a bit more size. We wouldn’t have to wait long.
