On a portion of my trip to Fort Collins, Colorado to visit my mom, she wanted to take me out to a famous Cowboy Restaurant called “Vern’s” — about a thirty-minute drive. As expected, the Lord had set up several Divine Appointments.

As my mom and I were ordering food, Bill walked in very slowly. He definitely stood out — he was visibly struggling and could not use his left hand and arm. He had a very difficult time sitting at the table to eat. I knew nothing about Bill, but immediately I knew I had to pray with him.

I told my mom what I was going to do and walked over to Bill and introduced myself. He spoke very slowly and said thank you, that would be nice. The restaurant was pretty full and I laid hands on Bill and began praying. The presence of Holy Spirit was undeniable. I believe just about everyone in the restaurant knew that there was a supernatural presence in the room.

When I was done, Bill looked up at me and said, “Thank you, that was very nice. I needed that.”

After Bill finished eating, I watched as he got up out of his chair and he seemed notably stronger. He then approached my mom and I and said, “I just wanted you to know that I had a stroke a while ago and the words you spoke over me were spot on. Everything you said was so true.”

I didn’t even remember what I said. It was a special moment. Then Bill went outside and drove away — YES, DROVE — in his old pickup truck.
