Today’s (Thursday 8/27/20) SURF / BEACH Report: We are (SURF SHOP) OPEN Tues. – Sat. 8:30am-4pm & Sun. 10:30am-4pm / CLOSED MONDAYS = our Day of Rest. It’s sunny, very warm and humid and windy = ESE/SSE winds at 15kts plus with very large surf / HIGH SURF ADVISORY in effect / Swell still coming in from Hurricane Laura (6-9ft+)waist to overhead on outside sandbars with poor to fair from. Water is warm in 80s / Double Red flags with some jellies and somewhat murky. Keep the folks out West in prayer as Hurricane Laura a Major Storm did a lot of damage and still continues to do so.
